Pastors Darren & Patricia Butler are the pioneering shepherds of The International Good News Fellowship, Inc.  

 

In 1997, they heard the clarion call of the Lord to birth this ministry. After much prayer and apostolic advice and encouragement from their then pastor, the ministry was chartered October of 1999, and officially birthed in their home, Tuesday - February 1, 2000, known then as The Gospel Church Inc. From the very beginning, it was divinely clear to them that God’s intent for this church was (and still is) to be a Kingdom House committed to the declaration and demonstration of the Good News of Jesus Christ, with a multicultural, trans-ethnic and cross-racial emphasis. They have unswervingly dedicated themselves to leading the ministry in that direction, patiently awaiting the manifestation of the vision God unveiled to them at the beginning. The ministry has grown from the 7 who started with them, 5 of whom were themselves and 3 of their children, to a strong sizable group of Partnered Covenant Disciples passionately in pursuit of God’s desire for their personal lives and the collective ministry according to The Word of God. In 2006, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, the church name was changed to what it is now known as, The International Good News Fellowship, Inc.

 

Pastors Darren and Patricia have a collective ministry experience between them that is greater than 60 years, and it is still growing with the continued shepherding of this church and other ministry assignments. 

 

They are married since July 15, 1989. God has blessed their union with 4 children, Qiana Key (Dameon), Adara Sherron (Dominique), Kimberly and Darren, Jr., as well as 5 grandchildren, Isaiah, Jordan, Kennedi, Janise and Sophia. 

 

Their greatest desire is to lead God’s people with the Father’s Integrity and Son’s Heart.
